The Princesses are at The Elsinore Theatre in Salem this weekend to set the record straight about what happens after “Happily Ever After”! Book, music, & Lyrics and directed by Dennis T. Glacino with origianl direction by Fiely Matias.

This not-for-kids musical is so much fun, I had a blast! The Princesses, led by Snow White, are angry about how they’ve been portrayed and are ready to tell you the truth! My music is so much fun, the energy these women have feels limitless, and the humor hits the spot. I loved everything about this show! Where to begin….

The set: Gorgeous, colorful, and the perfect backdrop for the Princesses to do their thing! Thank you Daniel Meeker!

The costumes/ Make-up & Wigs: Wow! It was super cool to see the Princesses in their “uniforms” with some sassy added. Gorgeous and inventive ๐Ÿ™‚ Princess Badroulbadour (aka Jasmine) was especially clever! Thank you Amy Pearce and Sadie Williams! Lynda McCarthy is spot on with the these Princesses!

Lighting: These Princesses shone perfectly in their moments! Thank you Mark LaPierre!

Sound & Music: These women are powerhouse singers! They were beautifully supported by Sound Designer Daniel Congdon with Musical Direction by Ian Patrick! A whole lotta love goes to the musicians in the band! You were amazing! I wish the program listed your names. Just know you are loved! ๐Ÿ™‚

Props: Alex Meyer–You must have had a fabulous time with this production! Everything looked amazing from my seat! You are awesome!

Keeping a show running smoothly is no easy task! That’s why Stephanie Long and Lynda McCarthy are so amazing! This show is top-notch and a blast to experience ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for your hard work!

Now for the Princesses….

Jessica Fisher plays Snow White with so much sass! She has her work cut out for her wrangling the girls and keeping the show moving! A vocal powerhouse and mesmerizing to watch her dominate the stage ๐Ÿ™‚

Tracy Webber plays Cinderella with the perfect amount of innocence and confidence! She was so fun to watch hamming it up for the crowd. ๐Ÿ™‚ She’s one of my favorites since I saw her play Evita at The Majestic in Corvallis ๐Ÿ™‚

Emma Thurston plays Sleeping Beauty like the wacky sister you always wish you had ๐Ÿ™‚ Sure, she’s sleepy but when she’s on, she’s the one you can be yourself with.

Tracy Chiappone plays Belle, Little Mermaid, and Rapunzel. Talk about range! Three completely different princesses and she disappears into each one. She was so fun to watch! I think of Belle’s story a little differently now ๐Ÿ™‚

Audrey Voon plays Hua Mulan, Pocahontas, and Badroulbadour (aka Jasmine). Audrey has a twinkle in her eyes when she’s onstage letting you in while she reveals truths about her Princesses I hadn’t considered. I enjoyed her songs very much and while this is definitely a comedy–I was left feeling enlightened by her performances.

Jessica Peterson plays The Princess Who Kissed The Frog. Jessica is a diva and don’t forget it! She was the one Princess I knew the least about. I’ve read the fairy tale, but didn’t see the movie. It didn’t matter. Jessica owns her Princess and she’s one who should’ve had her story told a long time ago!

Only TWO performances left for this fantastic show at The Elsinore then they go on a NW USA tour! Click HERE for showtimes & tickets!
